During the New York leg of the 2015 worldwide Chemical Brothers tour, Adam Smith found time to talk to US tech site Engadget about creating the bombastic live visuals the Chemical Brothers are known for.
Detailing the creative process, and in particular the motion capture visuals, the video feature also includes exclusive behind the scenes shots of acclaimed British dancer Akram Khan at Andy Serkis’ Imaginarium Studio.
The Born in the Echoes tour was met with universal praise for the pioneering approach to A/V. Adam and creative partner Marcus Lyall used a combination of props, film, animation and lighting to create something truly unique.
