Scott Free blockbuster films The Martian and Concussion received three and one nominations respectively at the 2016 Golden Globe Awards.

The nominations were announced this morning for the 73rd annual award show run by the Hollywood Foreign Press.

The Martian, which President Barack Obama recently cited as his favorite movie of the year, picked up nods for Best Motion Picture (Comedy/Musical), Best Director (Motion Picture) for Ridley Scott, and Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture (Comedy/Musical) for Matt Damon.

Meanwhile, Will Smith’s highly praised performance as Dr. Bennet Omalu in Concussion, which premieres this Christmas, earned the actor a nomination in the Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture (Drama) category.
