The RTS Craft & Design Awards recognise the huge variety of skills and processes involved in programme production from editing to lighting, and costume design to digital effects.
Earlier this week Taboo picked up three 2017 RTS Awards. Joanna Eatwell for best costume design, Erika Okvist, Jan Archibald and Audrey Doyle for hair and make-up design, and sound recordist Fraser Barber and the Boom sound team for sound. Mark Patten also won the BSC Award for Best Cinematography in TV Drama in the RTS Craft awards.
Produced by Scott Free London, the eight-part series Taboo stars British actor Tom Hardy and aired in the UK on the BBC and on FX in the US. The Executive Producers for Scott Free London are Ridley Scott, Kate Crowe and Carlo Dusi.
Taboo received the RTS awards in the same week Tom Hardy’s performance as James Delaney was awarded the C21 Award for Best Male Performance.
