Joined by MPC CEO Mark Benson, the two share their take on the world of production and storytelling.
As the entertainment industry continues to evolve at a rapid pace, we’re constantly challenged to discover the best way to deliver content that resonates with our audiences. RSA Films Asia MD John Payne, and MPC CEO Mark Benson, joins Propeller PR’s “Dog ‘n’ Bone” podcast to share some of their experiences, covering off on sourcing and developing new talent to serendipitous moments of mishap.
One of the many topics John touches on includes his insight into the start of the Ridley Scott Creative Group, sharing:
“We took a look and said ‘hold on a second.’ Let’s get back to the heart of what it is that we do. Be it a 30-second format, or a 90 minute or a 120 minute format, it’s storytelling. And we thought ‘Well if we combine all the skill sets of all these companies under one roof, we can then offer it up to all the agencies and clients as evidence of how we feel we should be moving forward in this so-called brave new world of advertising.”
Mark chimes in as well, adding:
“I think what your business is doing is recognizing change, and to a great extent it’s what the brands and clients of our futures are expecting. It’s a statement of intent about how you present your business.”
