Danish Director Henrik Hansen has been directing commercials for the past 9 years. He is known for his soulful aesthetic, using storytelling, camera perspective, casting, visual effects, and location choices to captivate the viewer.
A graduate of The Copenhagen Institute of Photography, Hansen has leveraged his skills in still photography and cinematography to create both print and television campaigns for leading brands including Mercedes, BMW, Jaguar, Honda, Lexus, Jeep, Nissan, Chevrolet and others. Hansen has worked with Nokia and Apple as well.
His Honda spot “Safer Roads” won critical acclaim from both ADWEEK and BOARDS, who named it among the Best Spots of 2005.
An active humanitarian, he developed numerous social awareness spots for Amnesty International and Exxon Mobil, as well as a compelling series for Ad Council promoting domestic hurricane relief.
Hansen has several screenplays in development and currently resides in Los Angeles and New York.
