Sadie & Joe
Sadie & Joe are a sister/brother combo from Ladbroke Grove, London, who join forces to make animations.
Their quirky stop motion animations and magpie aesthetic for all things sparkly capitalises on Sadie’s strengths in print and textile design, and Joe’s experience as a filmmaker.
Since first working on a University project together in Brighton, Sadie & Joe have created films for clients such as Marc by Marc Jacobs, Vogue, Topshop, Barbie, Loewe, Katie Hillier, &Other Stories, Ungaro, and Biotop.
Joe’s talent as a filmmaker has seen him create editorials, campaigns and content for clients such as Louis Vuitton, Vogue UK, Joseph, and Victoria Beckham. Whereas Sadie’s fashion label is supported by Newgen/Topshop and The British Fashion Council. Sadie’s collections debut at each season at London Fashion week and she is a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, after having previously exhibited her work in ‘Designs of the Year 2014’ exhibition at the London Design Museum and being one of Selfridges ‘Bright Young Things 2013’. In 2016, Forbes Magazine listed Sadie as one of Europe’s “30 Under 30” for The Arts. In 2017, Sadie was nominated for the Woolmark prize.
Their work has been featured in numerous publications including Vogue UK, Grazia, Wonderland, The New York Times, and Love Magazine, and featured in store in Harrods (London), Colette (Paris), Bloomingdales (New York) and Biotop (Tokyo).
