Jamie Delaney is an award-winning Irish director. He has worked internationally across all creative disciplines as a creative director and filmmaker. He is currently developing his debut feature film as well as writing and directing several shorts, commercials, and music videos.
Jamie graduated from London College of Communication with a Masters in Graphic Design in 2006. In 2010, he decided to pursue his passion for directing moving image full-time working on short films, music videos, documentaries, and commercials.
In 2013, Jamie won Silver at The Institute of Creative Advertising & Design (ICAD) for his documentary piece with the Irish Craft Council. In 2015, Jamie’s ‘Rainbow’ video for electronic music act Modestep earned him the Best New Director Award at Kinsale Sharks. The video was also included in the official SXSW 2016 selection.
Jamie has created a range of work for print and film all over the world for companies such as Dazed & Confused Magazine, Philips, i-D, Size?, British Fashion Council, Sony France, Kaya Kaya Records/XL Records, Polydor Roecords, Molson Canadian, and Trócaire. He has also directed music videos for several artists including Rejjie Snow, Fakear, and Modestep.
Jamie’s short film, The Sticks, is currently screening at several international festivals.
