Tom Hingston is an award-winning creative director and designer, based in London.
Renowned for his innovative and highly thoughtful approach to art direction and design, his work spans moving image, digital, print and experiential. His creative agency, Hingston Studio, has won numerous awards, particularly for its work in music. Over the last 20 years Tom has collaborated extensively with some of the world’s most well-known artists, including Massive Attack, Grace Jones, Nick Cave, The Chemical Brothers, The Rolling Stones, U2, Lady Gaga and David Bowie.
The studio’s work spans a broad spectrum of sectors; from fashion and beauty, to music and film, technology and property. Hingston has been appointed as creative director for a number of luxury brands, including Christian Dior, Alexander McQueen and Lancôme.
As a graphic designer Hingston has collaborated with a number of film directors, creating title sequences for, amongst others, Pride & Prejudice, Atonement, Anna Karenina, Control and A Most Wanted Man. His recent work as a director includes three promos for David Bowie, as well as commercials for Bentley and Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.
