RSA Films’ director Robert Stromberg’s Bewitching Film for Kohler’s #MirrorMirror campaign

January 16, 2019

“Mirror, mirror on the wall…” who’s the most tech-savvy of all?

RSA Films’ Robert Stromberg directs Ellen Hollman to debut the new voice-controlled Verdera Voice Lighted Mirror by Kohler. At the queen’s bidding, the mirror turns the lights on to make up mode, starts her music playlist, informs her of the salon’s hours, adds items to her shopping list and, in a surprise twist at the end, starts her Kohler DTV+ Shower System. What is this dark magic?

Written by Kohler’s in-house creative team, this collaboration showcases the cinematic magic touch of award-winning director and visual effects artist, Stromberg, who is the eye behind the 2014 feature Maleficent starring Angelina Jolie.

RSA’s Stromberg commented, “It was great to bring this character to life with the Kohler
team. I feel our queen brings a strong but playful presence to the brand while forging a
memorable connection to the product itself.” The campaign is digital, TV and print, on display at Las Vegas’s McCarran Airport.
