Ben is a graduate of the UK, National Film & Television School. He designs for films, television, commercials and events. Ben has won the Royal Television Society Award for Best Production Design for his work on Sword of Honour, an adaptation of Evelyn Waugh’s novel, which starred Daniel Craig.
His event work includes designing the world’s largest zoetrope for Sony Bravia, for which he garnered a Guinness world record. In commercials he works regularly with directors; Jonas Akerlund, Johan Renck and Ellen von Unworth among others.
As an Art Director his credit highlights include Star Wars: The Phantom Menace, The Beach, and The Man Who Cried. Ben was also the production designer on Jordan Scott’s 2009 debut feature Cracks. The acclaimed 2015 spot Kaleidoscope for Red Bull was Scott’s first foray into directing. It was awarded Gold for Best Branded Content at the 2016 Creative Circle Awards; Gold at Cannes Lions 2016 and a win at AICP 2016. Ben’s second directorial effort was a one shot immersive ad for CBBC. Both of Ben’s works have been met with widespread acclaim.
